If the requested publication is not available in the library collection, it is obtained from other research and university libraries in Turkey.
Who can benefit?
Academic staff of the University can benefit from the Interlibrary Loan and Documentation Service.
How can I make a request?
User; can request a maximum of 10 resources at a time, the loan period of the resource is 30 days and it has the right to extend it once.
How long does it take to receive my request?
In this case, the rules of the library from which the resource was borrowed apply. When the book reaches the library, the requester is informed by phone or e-mail.
Fee
-The fee varies according to the documentation policy of the relevant library.
- The shipping cost of the books brought from other universities is paid to the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Unit.
- For theses provided through TÜBESS, the printout fee is paid to the Photocopy Unit.
Descriptions
• Copyrights are protected by Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works. This Act limits the use of copyrighted works other than copyright holders. Unauthorized copying or reproduction of copyrighted works constitutes a violation of the legal rights of the copyright holder or affiliated rights holders. In this context, the requesting user is deemed to have accepted to use the source without violating the copyright and to return it within the specified period.
• In order to extend the usage period of the borrowed resource, it is necessary to inform the personnel working in the interlibrary loan unit 5 days before the return date.
• If the borrowed resource is lost, damaged or returned late after delivery, the responsibility belongs to the user. In this case, the rules of the library from which the resource was borrowed apply.
• The library that made the request is held responsible for any damages that may occur during the use of the borrowed resource (expiry of the return period, damage and losses).
