What Is zero waste?

The "Zero Waste Project/Program" has been initiated by the Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning in all public institutions in Turkey under the auspices of Emine ERDOĞAN, the wife of President Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN.

For the establishment, implementation and monitoring of the Zero Waste Management System at Nigde Omer Halisdemir University in a healthy and effective way, efforts continue to be made."Zero Waste" is defined as waste management philosophy, which includes prevention of waste, use of resources more efficiently, prevention or minimization of waste generation by reviewing the causes of waste generation and ensuring recycling.
