Program Outcomes

1. Defines the basic concepts of tourism and hotel management. 

2. Familiar with legal regulations and professional standards in the field of tourism and hotel management. Easily applies the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired in school and internships to the industry. 

3. By getting to know Turkey and Turkish culture, they gain knowledge of tourism geography. 

4.Knows at least one foreign language at a basic level; understands professional English and uses it effectively in sectoral practices. 

5.Relates tourism information to other disciplines such as economics, sociology and psychology. 

6.Knows how computer automation systems used in tourism and hotel businesses work and uses these systems. 

7.Has high communication skills and adapts to teamwork. 

8.Knows the menu planning, food production, kitchen services management, service, banquet organization practices carried out under the food and beverage department in hotel businesses and takes an active role in these practices. 

9.Knows and implements the procedures of taking reservations, selling rooms, greeting customers, processing accounts, accounting and recording. 

10.Participates in team work as a team member in sales and marketing, congress and fair organizations. 

11.Knows and implements decoration services, housekeeping management, room and general area cleaning, laundry management, and the use and supervision of cleaning products. 

12.Takes an active role in tour operating and travel agency. 

13.He/she knows food safety and quality management systems, helps his/her colleagues and ensures the development of his/her subordinates by continuously training them. 

14.Has knowledge and skills in crisis management and first aid. 

15.It adheres to national and international ethical values ​​and pays attention to these values ​​in its work.
