Happy Paramedics Day

As part of Paramedics Day, our Vocational School organized a comprehensive training event for students of the Paramedic Program. Throughout the day, theoretical and hands-on training sessions were delivered on basic and advanced practices that are vital in emergency medical services.

In the first session of the event, Basic Life Support training was presented by Dr. Tuğba Aydemir. This was followed by Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Kaçmaz, who shared his knowledge and experience with students on Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Resuscitation Medications.

In the afternoon sessions, Dr. Seval Kılbasanlı provided training on the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Airway Management, and Intubation. In the final session of the day, Dr. Emre Karasu conducted practical training on intramuscular drug administration, intravenous catheterization, and intraosseous access (bone marrow catheterization). We would like to thank our faculty members and all participants.

The event, which attracted great interest from our students, contributed significantly to the development of professional knowledge and skills and raised awareness of emergency situations that may be encountered in the field. In line with its goal of training qualified and well-equipped graduates in the field of health, our Vocational School will continue to organize such scientific and educational activities.

Happy Paramedics Day to all paramedics.
