Purpose 1: To train paramedics who can provide basic and advanced life support in pre-hospital emergency health services, recognize situations requiring emergency care, implement appropriate emergency interventions, and ensure the transport of injured or ill patients.

1. Graduates can identify situations requiring emergency care and perform appropriate emergency interventions.
2. Graduates can make quick and accurate decisions in emergency situations.

- At least 75% of graduates use current guidelines and algorithms in practice.
- At least 75% of graduates demonstrate correct and safe approaches in emergency care situations.

Purpose 2: To train paramedics who follow scientific and technological developments, possess lifelong learning skills, and are aware of their professional responsibilities.

1. Graduates can use information and health technologies.
2. Graduates participate in professional development activities.
3. Graduates maintain a lifelong learning tendency.

- At least 70% of graduates actively use information and health technologies.
- At least 3% of graduates continue with complementary undergraduate/associate degree education.
- At least 3% of graduates participate in congresses, courses, or certification programs.
- 70% of graduates have high lifelong learning tendency scores.

 

Purpose 3: To train paramedics who fulfill their duties, authorities, and responsibilities in accordance with professional values and ethical principles and can contribute to professional development, management, and quality processes.

2. Graduates continue their profession in health institutions and organizations.
3. Graduates contribute to professional development and quality processes. 
 - 80% of graduates perform their duties in accordance with professional values and ethical principles.
- At least 4% of graduates are employed in public/private institutions within 3 years after graduation.
- 30% of graduates participate in professional development or quality improvement activities. 
 Purpose 4: To train paramedics who play an active role in interdisciplinary teamwork, use interpersonal communication and leadership skills, and have a high sense of social responsibility.  1. Graduates use communication skills in team work.
2. Graduates can take on leadership roles.
3. Graduates participate in social responsibility projects. 
 - 75% of graduates communicate effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
- 75% of graduates demonstrate leadership skills in crisis and emergency situations.
- At least 3% of graduates volunteer in disaster and community solidarity projects. 

Mission
The mission of the Emergency and First Aid Program is to train paramedics who will serve in emergency health services, follow scientific and technological developments, provide basic and advanced life support, recognize situations requiring emergency care and apply appropriate interventions, adhere to ethical values, embrace a lifelong learning culture, and possess a high sense of social responsibility.

Vision
The vision of the Emergency and First Aid Program is to be a program recognized at national and international levels that trains paramedics equipped with innovative educational methods, leads professional development through scientific research and practice, and contributes sustainably to regional development and public health.
