Planned department meetings were held in February, March, April, and May at our Vocational School in order to improve the quality of education and training, evaluate academic processes, and support the understanding of continuous improvement within the scope of the quality assurance system.

The meetings, conducted under the chairmanship of the Director of our Vocational School, were held with the participation of the academic staff of the departments of Computer Technologies, Machinery and Metal Technologies, Electricity and Energy, Electronics and Automation, Food Processing, Materials and Materials Processing Technologies, Veterinary, Motor Vehicles and Transportation Technologies, Architecture and Urban Planning, and Crop Production.

During the meetings, the departments’ education and training activities, current academic practices, encountered problems, department-based needs, and suggestions for quality improvement processes were evaluated. By listening to each department separately in line with its own dynamics, views were exchanged on the strengths of the programs and the areas open to improvement.

Ensuring that education and training processes are carried out more effectively, increasing student satisfaction, strengthening academic functioning, and making improvement efforts sustainable within the scope of the quality assurance system were among the main agenda items of the meetings.

In this context, the meetings held were evaluated as an important study in line with the quality-oriented management approach, participatory decision-making process, and continuous improvement goals of our Vocational School.
