ESTABLISHMENT
Our faculty was established under Selçuk University based on Law No. 19500, published in the Official Gazette on June 27, 1987, and the letter No. 20914 dated June 26, 1988, from the Executive Board of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). In its first year, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences began its educational activities with only two faculty members in the Business Administration Department. From its establishment until July 30, 1992, our faculty continued its educational activities within Selçuk University. On June 11, 1992, with the enactment of Law No. 3837, published in the Official Gazette No. 21281, it was transferred to Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University.
Following its affiliation with Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences experienced rapid growth and currently has 33 full-time Professors, 23 Associate Professors, and 19 PhDs. With 1 faculty member, 1 lecturer, and 17 research assistants, education continues in the Departments of Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, Finance, Political Science and International Relations, International Trade and Logistics, Finance and Banking, and Management Information Systems.
