PO1- Holds sufficient degree of theoretical, philosophical and practical knowledge that constitutes the foundation of the field of psychological counseling and guidance.

PO2- Explain the basic concepts and principles related to psychological counseling and guidance.

PO3- Recognize the developmental characteristics and problem areas specific to the life stages of the individual.

PO4- Understand the educational system, organizational structure and climate of the school.

PO5-. Have an understanding of the individual's normal and abnormal behaviors and the dynamics of the behaviors.

PO6- Understand the importance of supervision in the field of psychological counseling.

PO7- Apply necessary psychological counseling skills, interventions and strategies in individual counseling and group work

PO8-. Apply psychoeducational group studies and group guidance principles, techniques and methods for academic, career and social-emotional needs.

PO9- Uses his/her field knowledge and skills in creating partnerships (through collaboration, training and/or consultation) with other individuals, professionals or institutions.

PO10- Able to prepare and implement psychological counseling and guidance programs based on effectively viewing/evaluating local circumstances of his/her services in accordance with scientific and ethical principles

PO11-. While providing psychological counseling and guidance services, they can decide, apply, score and interpret psychological measurement tools that are suitable for the purpose and have the necessary psychometric properties.

PO12- Applies individual assessment techniques in order to provide counseling and guidance services effectively.

PO13- Students will be able to provide services to individuals which facilitate self-knowledge, self-understanding and making appropriate decisions in career development process on the basis of career development theories, decision making models, and labor market conditions.

PO14- Utilizes systematic/scientific problem solving steps in handling professional issues.

PO15- Students will be able to follow literature and implementation in guidance and psychological counseling field.

PO16- Shows positive regard and attitudes toward life-long learning for self and others (clients).

PO17- Students will be able to use effectively data and communication technologies in order to increase the qualification of guidance and psychological counseling services and follow scientific development.
