Department-Specific Competences
1. Expressing feelings, thoughts and imaginations both written and orally according to the rules of the Turkish language in a suitable way,
2. Enabling the students to perceive the sound features and the sound events of Turkish Language comparing with the others,
3. Allowing the students perceive linguistics, basic concepts of linguistics and approaches about the language survey,
4. To practice speaking in front of the crowd to make them a good teacher and to give the ability to prepare texts and speeches on important days and weeks celebrated in our schools.
5. To learn diversity in verse and verse in our literature and to examine examples.
6. To understand the structure and morphisms of Turkish words.
7. To teach the students the basic concepts of language arts, linguistics, grammar examination approaches.
8. To provide knowledge about the linguistic directional persons and their studies, the descriptive dimension of the language and its usage characteristics.
9. Using the skills of effective communication.
10. To give information about the field and the borders of the period of the Republican period and the literature.
11. To give information and examples about the form, style and contents of poems and individual anonymous or individual, works in Turkish folk literature.
12. To know the basic items that children should have in the children's books prepared according to the development level they are in.
13. To determine how to teach Turkish with foreign language with different methods, techniques and materials from the main language teaching and to present it practically with activities to be done.
14. To bring the students into a productive, participating individual with the skills of speaking, reading, listening and writing in accordance with their mother tongue and rules.
15. To examine the textbooks approved by the Ministry of National Education from a critical point of view.
General Competences
1. The students know and use the different teaching methods and techniques in teaching and learning process and they prepare a suitable learning atmosphere for developing the learning and teaching objectives.
2. The teacher candidates get the general knowledge in such a level as to contribute to the development of the students, a research culture and foreign language knowledge in such a level as to follow the developments about their field
3. The teacher candidates gain the proficiencies of observation, evaluation and registration of the learning of the students in education-teaching process.
4. The teacher candidates get the skill to be able to use Turkish correctly, effectively and conveniently according to the rules and they get the skill to be able establish a good communication with the students
5. The teacher candidates are sufficient about and equipped with technology and communication
6. The teacher candidates have the basic knowledge about their profession.
7. The teacher candidates have the basic knowledge about the teaching of Turkish
8. The teacher candidates have the basic knowledge of interdisciplinary study and of team-work
9. The teacher candidates have the basic knowledge, taking advantage of the modern approaches while teaching their knowledge about the field
10. The teacher candidates have the basic knowledge that there are ways more than one while finding solutions to the problem
