Dear Academic and Administrative Staff and Students

Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, Faculty of Education is an institution where our academic and administrative staff and students share the same goals and responsibilities.  Our faculty has accepted the peace, happiness, sense of belonging and scientific productivity of our staff and students as a basic principle in the sense of justice.

Adopting the total quality management with a scientific understanding, our faculty endeavours to acquire lifelong learning habits by accepting the student as the basis of the learning process. Celebrating its 25th year as of 2017, our faculty has combined its history-based learning-teaching experiences with the educational understanding of today.

Our education philosophy is to train outstanding teachers of the future through lifelong learning with problem-solving, project-based learning, and a student-centred approach to education.

Dear Students,

Our faculty management has aimed to offer you the most qualified service with its academic and administrative staff. Keep in mind that the most basic path of success passes through self-awareness, managing your own duties and responsibilities, and knowing your own learning methods. Keep also in mind that acting in accordance with the basic values and principles of our faculty, which we hope that you will be proud of being a student, will make your success even easier. The physical infrastructure of our faculty is organised to support active learning.

You are expected to be prospective teachers of tomorrow, who can use the time well, use the education techniques, do team work, apply active learning methods, sensitive to the environment, use the Turkish language correct and beautiful, and solve problems without complaining about the existence of the problems you face. For this reason, you must make the most of the physical infrastructure and academic experience of our faculty.

Achieving the goals adopted by our faculty and making our faculty as the most preferred teacher training institution in Turkey are possible with your devotion and hard work.
