The main aim of the program is; To acquire the basic knowledge, skills and values that a social studies teacher should have for the students. It is aimed to train teacher candidates who have absorbed the values of the information society, who produce and implement information in the field of social studies, who are constantly improving themselves, and who can search for solutions to problems related to education, training and teacher training by scientific methods. Program graduates are sought to teach secondary school (grades 5-7) social studies.
