1- Strenghts
1.1. The fact that there are a great number of academic staff with Ph Degree
1.2. The diversity of the sub-branches in which our academic staff specialize in Department of Social Sciences
1.3. Opportunity of student exchange in Erasmus programme
1.4. Oportunity to have a M.A Degree programme for the undergraduate students
1.5. To be one of the Social knowledge teaching divisions which were opened first in Turkey

2- Weaknesses
2.1. The fact that there are inadequate numbers of the classrooms and the fact that there are not adequate numbers of quality devices
2.2. The fact that our department does not carry out the activities such as symposium or conference in national or international level
2.3  Absence of the necessary technical equipment of the present department study so that the postgraduate students will be able to use in case of necessity
2.4  Absence of the necessary finacial opportunities with respect to the activities of the department
2.5  Not having the sufficient lecturers in the present divisions within the Department
2.6  Not having an organized relationship with our graduates yet
2.7  The problems concerning the appointment of the graduates

3- Opportunities
3.1. There are three active labs wich 40 students will be to use at the same time in the department
3.2. There is a library connected with the department within the building of Education Faculty

4- Threats
4.1. The negativeness which the student’s acceptance give rise to with pardons in different intervals.
4.2. Lack of opportunities of appointment, or having difficulty in fınding opportunities of appointment relatively in public sector, which is attracting
