 The Mining Engineering Department was established in 2005 within the Faculty of Engineering. The department's founding purpose is to train qualified mining engineers needed by the public and private sectors and to strengthen the scientific capacity of our country and region. The department began accepting students for undergraduate and graduate programs in 2008, and the doctoral program was opened in 2021, expanding graduate education opportunities.
