Dear students,

In today’s globalising world formed by ever-developing technology, learning foreign languages is explicitly seen as one of the most crucial necessities for accessing to and sharing the knowledge. Based on this necessity, the main mission of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University-School of Foreign Languages is to provide high standard foreign language education for our students, who are both registered in Optional and Compulsory Foreign Language Preparation Program in our school and who take common compulsory foreign language lessons in different divisions and departments of our University. Additionally, as a team, we believe that high standards for teaching are necessary to be able to equip our students with the necessary foreign language knowledge and skills that they may need in their academic and professional lives.

Given the importance of learning foreign languages, I advise you to get benefit as much as possible from our instructors who aim to convey their foreign language knowledge and skills to you during the preparation program. It should not be forgotten that the process of learning foreign languages is not restricted to the class or school only but it lasts a lifetime as a dynamic process with many interactions. One of the most effective ways of succeeding in this process is to be able to have a good foreign language background after the preparation program.

I believe wholeheartedly that you will reach that background easily with your efforts as well, in the preparation program of our school which has all kind of technological and educational equipment that we consistently update and upgrade.
