THE PURPOSE OF CENTER

a) Considering the Kazakh studies, which constitute an important part of Turkish science studies, to deal with interdisciplinary studies addressing to the current issues; Turkey and Kazakhstan objectively examine its relations with the historical perspective of Turkey.

b) Kazakhstan, as one of the important states of the Turkic World, is one of the important centers of Turkic, to be a pioneer in the tradition of important thinkers raised by Kazakh Turks in Kazakhstan and Kazakh Culture researches.

c) To gather the studies made about Kazakhs and Kazakhstan area in Turkey and in the World under one roof and to organize scientific meetings at national / international levels.

ç) To support and encourage the development of education and training of the Department of Contemporary Turkish Dialects and Literatures established at the University, to encourage the research of Turkish dialects especially used in Kazakhstan area and Kazakh Turkish and cultures, to support education and research projects related to Kazakh Turkic in the future which are favorable at the departments of Sociology, Turkish Language and Literature, History, Art History, Geography and International Relations

d) To enhance social and cultural relations among mainly Kazakh Turks, Turkestan and Turkish people

e) To provide research, examination, consultancy and similar services in the areas needed by the institutions and organizations in the public and private sectors about the working fields of the Center
