ACTIVITY AREAS OF THE CENTER

a) To Prepare the catalog of the work done on the area of Kazakhstan in Turkey and the world

b) To organize national and international meetings to identify problems related to Kazakh studies.

c) To encourage studies at various levels for the solution of detected problems.

ç) To support scientific studies on Turkestan region and surrounding cultures, especially on Kazakh Turks.

d) To promote studies towards Kazakhstan and Turkey Turks to produce programs and projects for the increase of studies prepared for these issues.

e) To contribute studies, education and training in which Contemporary Turkish Dialects and Literatures, Turkish Language and Literature, Geography, Sociology, History, Art History and International Relations Departments carry out on the field of Kazakh Turkish and culture and to organize activities to increase students' knowledge in the related issues.

 f)  To promote the development of scientific and academic cooperation between Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University or other Turkish Universities and Kazakh Turks living in Kazakhstan or other countries’ residency owners; for this purpose, to contribute to the mobility of graduate and doctorate students or post-doctoral researchers and ,faculty members between the two countries

g) To broadcast films and TV programs about Turkestan, especially Kazakh Turks.

ğ) To provide consultancy services to the people who want to receive education on the related subjects of Turkestan or Turkic regions, especially Kazakhstan.

h) To Provide resources to the educators and professionals who will conduct researches or investigation studies on the related subjects.

ı) To organize the conferences, seminars, competitions, congresses and symposiums and to give awards.

i) For the purposes of the center, to cooperate with national and international organizations.

j) To support and develop the studies currently being carried out between the university and the universities of Eurasian countries and Turkic countries.

k) To provide research, examination, consultancy and similar services to the institutions and organizations in the public and private sectors in the fields they need within the working area of the Center.
