The main purpose of the Department of Sports Sciences is to provide sports education within the universal science criteria, which is the mission of universities. The students who prefer this section are based on the fact that they came from the sport and associate the events they experience in the sport with science. It is aimed to determine training plan and program strategies by making specific and detailed performance analysis specific to its branch, making by digitizing, reporting by digitizing, determining weaknesses and strengths, and drawing conclusions. It is the scientists who test the sport scientifically and evaluate it based on mathematical data, systematically interpret it, determine or apply it by implementing strategies.

Graduates of Physical Education and Sports Teaching can do Physical Education Teaching in public and private schools under the Ministry of National Education. Trainer Education graduates Coaches ( Trainer Ecudations) can work in organizations, universities, schools, sports clubs affiliated to the General Directorate of Youth and Sports. The graduates of Sports Management are the opportunity to serve in a wide range, such as the General Directorate of Youth and Sports or the management of various levels of major sports clubs. Also; Students who graduate from each department can be appointed as military and police under the new laws. 

WORKING AREAS OF THE FACULTY OF SPORTS SCIENCES GRADUATES

- They can be appointed to universities. (Instructor, Research assistant)

- They can be appointed as officers.   

-You can work as a contract trainer in the youth sports provincial directorates.

-You can work as a manager at the General Directorate of Youth and Sports or at various levels of big sports clubs.

-You can work as a Trainer in the field of Sports Services affiliated to the Health, Culture and Sports Departments of the Universities.

- Within the scope of the new laws, graduates of the Coaching Education and Sports Management department can take formation and teach.
