Course Objective
This course aims to define and arrange the plants among the subjects that the Biology science branch planning on, to teach the general principles of Plant Taxonomy and open seeded plants especially scattered in Türkiye, to present and to get comprehended the taxons at the level of family, species, kinds which are important for Türkiye
Brief Content of the Course
General taxonomy principles, taxonomical categories, calling of plants; botany names, importance of assignation, Herbariums and herbarium techniques, Classification systems of plants, evolution and formation of species, general properties of Seeded plants(Spermatophyta), open seededs(Gymnosperms) and classification of open seededs; Application; Giving the examples about root, body and leaf types to the students by bringing them to the labaratory which are adapted to get comprehended the terminology needed for plant classification, and analysing them by drawing
