Course Objective
Determining the environmental impact by biotechnology applications and giving information about the environmental effects by biotechnology
Brief Content of the Course
In this course, we discuss the concept of Environmental Impact Assessment, the effects of biotechnology applications on the environment, the use of biotechnological methods in environmental impact assessment, as well as the planning and management of impact studies and evaluation of impacts. Sustainability, which encompasses the significance of environmental, social, and economic factors in decision-making regarding environmental issues, should be regarded as a triple bottom line, with its importance should be emphasized.
