Course Objective
The definition of the concept of plant stress, stress factors and learn the basic terminology used in plant stress physiology and examine the effects of these stressors
Brief Content of the Course
Stress, defining terms of compliance and resistance, low temperature (chilling and freezing), drought, high temperatures, salt and ion stress, lack of oxygen and air pollution, membrane properties in conditions of stress, injury, mechanism of resistance, durability metabolic changes associated with hormonal control, stress proteins
