Course Objective
Aim of Graphic Pattern I Course in Graphic Design Programme, Department of Design: The aim of the Graphic Pattern I course is to teach the basic knowledge, skills and concepts related to the graphic design course to the graphic designer candidates, to reach a sufficient level of knowledge about graphic design and artists, to examine graphic design examples and to develop the level of aesthetic comprehension, to transform abstract, conceptual expressions into objective-concrete graphical products, to gain the ability to associate the acquired knowledge / skills with other field courses.
Brief Content of the Course
Pattern lesson, definition of the pattern and pattern drawing from the object, anatomy and pattern, anatomical pattern, ratio-proportion in the pattern, depth perception in the pattern, light and shadow in the pattern.
