a-Evaluation of the Fall Semester. Providing information about the Spring Semester course schedule. Explanations of the concepts in the program for the fields. b- Introducing and noting the supply of drawing, painting tools, work surfaces and other tools and equipment to be used during the semester. c-General introduction of dyes. (Water-based, oil-based/Synthetic, cellulosic) Introducing the paints to be used in classes (Gouache, Water Color, Dry Color, Pastel Paints, etc.). d-Creating a tone scale (light-shadow) with water-based gouache paint and applying this scale on geometric forms or objective objects. Option: The obtained tone scale tones are painted on separate cardboards and applied in the collage technique using the piece-put-together method. Purpose: To get to know the paint, to understand the application consistency of the paint and the element of light-shadow and tone while learning to paint. 2a-Color: Theoretical explanation of color in parallel with case studies.-Light Colors, -Dye (Pigment) Colors. – Color Sensation. –Classification of color. (Primary Colours, Secondary Colours, Complementary Colours) b-Color Contrasts and color creation methods with color mixtures. c- (1)-Mutual (simple) Color Contrast. Color Circle application and understanding the subject through this application. (UYG- 2)>Using plain colors (Yellow-Blue-Red). 2- Arrangement work to be done on the surface with small units (triangle, square, rectangle, circle, etc.). (APPLICATION- 3)Textbook / Other Written and Visual Resources
a-(2)-Light-Dark Color Contrast: Teaching the subject by applying it through geometric shapes and forms or objective forms. (APPLICATION- 4) NOTE: Departments create application preferences in accordance with their own concepts. b-(3)-Warm-Cold Color Contrast. Classification of colors in terms of their effects. To teach the subject by applying it through geometric shapes and forms or objective forms. (UYG- 5) NOTE: Departments create application preferences in accordance with their own concepts.Textbook / Other Written and Visual Resources
a-(4)-Complementary Contrast. To teach the subject by applying it through geometric shapes and forms or objective forms. (UYG- 6) NOTE: Departments create application preferences in accordance with their own concepts. b-(5)-Simultaneous (Misleading) Contrast. To teach the subject by applying it through geometric shapes and forms or objective forms. (UYG- 7) NOTE: Departments create application preferences in accordance with their own concepts.Textbook / Other Written and Visual Resources

a- Having the studies of the natural and/or artificial object provided using paint. (Gouache, Pastel, Watercolor) 1-General View 2-Side View 3-Top View NOTE: Studies must be realistic, photorealistic. (Material structure, color, texture) (UYG- 10)Textbook / Other Written and Visual Resources
a-Structure: Search for order on the surface and in space with Line-Square-Circle and Ready-shaped objects. Investigation of the formation and proliferation possibilities of Square and Circle shapes within themselves and together on the surface. (UYG-13) – (Waste-free, Self-Evaluation) b- Transforming the design created based on the Square-Circle form, the non-variable shapes of Euclidean Geometry, into a new design on the surface (Relief) by duplicating the prototype. – Difference in similarity, similarity in difference. – Black-White or two-color applications. (UYG-14) NOTE: The study can be done individually or as a group study. “Integrity is the design in which there is neither deficiency nor excess.”Textbook / Other Written and Visual Resources
a-Determining the unit using non-variable geometric shapes or lines, using wooden materials and/or objects produced in an industrial environment, and duplicating the detected unit (numerically and in size), bringing it back together and transforming it into a new design in a new dimension. (Searching for different order with the same unit-module) (UYG-15) Euclidean GEOMETRY and:– Square: Rhythm – Sequential Repetition / Direction – Balance - Line: Rhythm – Sequential Repetition / Direction – Balance - Circle: Rhythm – Sequential Repetition / Direction – Balance STRUCTURETextbook / Other Written and Visual Resources
