Course Objective
Students' drawing skills, as well as transforming forming techniques into practice. To be able to develop new expression possibilities by observing nature and the environment. The student's understanding of the environment, nature and people with a creative perception with basic skills such as ratio/proportion, movement, volume, space-fullness and light-shadow. By explaining the place and importance of live model drawings in the history of art, students are motivated to identify with master artists. In addition, Pattern, which is one of the most basic application areas of plastic arts, in the process of creating by seeing-observation; It is a way of looking and making sense that develops both theoretical and practical analysis. In the field of art, as a means of communicating with the audience and expressing oneself, Pattern implies the possibilities of questioning and critical thinking, as well as developing a creative and constructive perspective.
Brief Content of the Course
Examining and practicing drawing techniques with drawing materials. Developing students' basic compositional skills with three-dimensional objects. Experimenting with the application by examining the pattern samples belonging to the classical period and modern artists in live model drawings.
