Course Objective
The aim of this course is to introduce the definition, scope, types and obstacles of ijtihad in Islamic law and to discuss what can be done to reactivate ijtihad today.
Brief Content of the Course
In this course, in addition to the discussions in the ijtihad section of the works on the usul al-fiqh, the discussions on ijtihad in the modern period, the scope, types and obstacles of ijtihad will be discussed.
