Course Objective
The aim of this course is to provide students with a comprehensive and advanced understanding of the monetary economic theories, including their development and applications.
Brief Content of the Course
The definitions of money and its functions; Monetary standarts, Monetary base, moneytary demand theories: classical quantity theory of money, Monetarist Monetary Theory; Keynesian Monetary Theory, money supply theories,interest rate theories, approaches to external balance of payments, classical- Keynesian- monetarist-new Keynesian models and monetary theory
