Course Objective
The aim of this course is to explain new economics and old economics, to understand economic effects of new economy, digital transformation in the world and Turkey, new economy business models, e-government, e-commerce applications.
Brief Content of the Course
The separation of the old economy and the new economy, the intellectual and technological process leading to the information society,e-transformation / e-commerce process, e-commerce, e-government, new economy, types and advantages of e-commerce, digital transformation in the world and EU, country examples of digital transformation, digital transformation in Turkey, SWOT analysis for Turkey, Internet and globalization. Explaining the relationship between the concepts of new economy and sustainability.
