Course Objective
To provide information about prestressed concrete and its applications. To extend its fields of use.
Brief Content of the Course
Definition of prestressed concrete, its fields of application and analysis methods. Prestressed forced losses (short term and long term losses), bending analysis. Prestressed beam design, shear calculation, adherence, displacement, crack and moment curvature relationship, continuous beams, compression elements, tension elements, prestressed plates, prestressed prefabricated structures and earthquake
