Course Objective
Physical, biological, or chemical effects on the earth caused by erosion. Particle accumulation and become rock (diagenesis) are intended. Also covered of the physical principles in the sediments and sedimentary environments are introduced.
Brief Content of the Course
Erosion of rocks, transport and storage. The classification of particles according to grain size. Mechanisms of formation of sedimentary rocks. To understand the characteristics of sedimentary environments. Siliciclastic rocks, Siliciclastic rocks and texure and strucure. Carbonete rocks, Carbonete rocks and componets, Carbonete rocks clasification.
