Course Objective
The aim of the course is the basic macro-economic concepts and quantities, the relationships between macroeconomic variables describing the macroeconomic model to give theoretical and analytical knowledge.
Brief Content of the Course
Macroeconomics and microeconomics separation, macroeconomics, basic assumptions, the measurement of economic performance: unemployment, inflation, the total output for the main macroeconomic variables, and concepts: the concepts of national product and income, interest rates, exchange rates, public deficits, classical economics, Keynesian economics, the total expenditure, equilibrium level of income, balance in the economy, deflationary and inflationary clear definition of the functions of money, the money supply, money demand, equilibrium interest rate, the balance of aggregate demand and aggregate supply, fiscal policy and activity, monetary policy and the activities of international trade, balance of payments; theories of growth, development and poverty alleviation, economic systems
