Course Objective
The aim of the General Chemistry Laboratory I course is to teach basic laboratory techniques, establish the theory-experiment relationship, prepare experimental setups, use simple laboratory equipment, conduct experiments, and develop skills in reporting.
Brief Content of the Course
Experimental application of basic chemistry topics such as basic laboratory materials and safety rules, physical properties of pure substances, solutions and solution concentration, solubility, separation of mixtures, stoichiometric examination of a chemical reaction, distillation, and acid-base titrations.
