Course Objective
The aim of this course is to provide comprehensive knowledge on the fundamental concepts of coordination chemistry and bonding theories.
Brief Content of the Course
The history of coordination chemistry, isomerism in coordination compounds, nomenclature of coordination compounds and ligands, Coordination Compounds of chemical bonding, valence bond theory (VBT)), Crystal Field Theory (CAT), Molecular Orbital Theory (MOT), Coordination Compounds Electronic Transitions.

Ability to explain structural isomerism arising from differences in how atoms are bonded in complexes with the same empirical formula.
