Course Objective
To teach hydrogen production and storage techniques which play an important role in transition to hydrogen energy. To acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to analyze energy and exergy of hydrogen production and storage systems.
Brief Content of the Course
Hydrogen production from fossil fuels and hydrogen production methods with electrolysis methods. Experimental observation of hydrogen production by PEM, solid oxide and alkaline electrolysis methods, making calculations and introduction of used devices. Examination of storage techniques of hydrogen gas, liquid and metal hydride reactors. Examination of hydrogen safety and recent developments.
