Course Objective
Basic knowledge of digital signal processing will be introduced and the aproaches of digital active digital filter design will be given to the participating students. In addition to this, importance of signal processing, application and industrial applications will be also highlighted.
Brief Content of the Course
Introduction to system and signs, general concepts, the use of computer programs (Matlab, Mathcad, Excel, and etc) for system analysis and signal processing, Time zone analysis methods, probability density function, averages, impact responses of systems, correlation functions, Discrete-time signals and systems, sampling and digitizing, ADC and DAC, aliasing and anti-aliasing filters, sampler-holders and output effects, dynamic field and quantization errors, frequency domain analysis methods, Line spectra and Fourier series, Fourier transform and spectral density functions, Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT), Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), Analysis of continuous and discrete-time systems, The basic structure of DSP systems, principles of data collection and processing systems, real-time information collection and management, structures of digital filters and digital filter design and practical DSP system design. Sustainability in electronic systems.
