To introduce Turkey´s natural vegetation and present basic concepts in this context and teach main taxa of flora of the region

Teaching the characteristic species and climatic features of Turkey’s phytogeographical regions (Euro-Siberian, Mediterranean and Irano-Turanian)

Teaching the distribution of Turkish plants according to floristic regions and the similarities and differences between regions in terms of biodiversity
