To be able to define the concept of genre, the characteristics of genre in art in general and the reasons of its emergence.

To be able to determine the characteristics of different film genres, to evaluate the similarities and differences between each other.

To be able to interpret the characteristics of detective and film genres and the changes that this genre has undergone since the beginning.
