Course Objective
The aim of this course is to teach the fundamental components of autonomous systems, modeling methods, driving techniques and sensor technologies, path planning, localization, mapping, and autonomous navigation simulations. It covers general information about autonomous systems and their fundamental components, modeling, driving techniques, sensor technologies, path planning, localization, mapping, autonomous navigation, autonomous system modeling, and simulation applications.
Brief Content of the Course
This course covers fundamental electrical and electronic concepts, an introduction to embedded systems, fundamental concepts and architectures of autonomous systems, autonomous vehicles and driving techniques, sensor and actuator technologies, and safety and risk management in autonomous systems. It also covers simulation tools, learning, decision-making and control algorithms, robotic systems and modeling, navigation methods, mapping and path planning algorithms, and positioning and localization.
