Course Objective
The aim of the course is to group Byzantine painting according to construction techniques; To gain knowledge about the general history of mosaic painting with mosaic construction technique.
Brief Content of the Course
This course is intended to be classified by the Byzantine painting techniques, mosaic making techniques, general information about history of mosaic,examples of mosaic painting in Anatolia and Istanbul, iconography of mosaic painting, style features: early,middle and late Byzantine mosaic.
