Course Objective
The objective of this course is to teach students about the relationship between the environment and public health, provide them with knowledge regarding the effects of environmental factors on human health, and raise their awareness of environmental risk assessment and preventive measures. Additionally, the course aims to equip students with the ability to evaluate approaches to sustainable environmental and public health.
Brief Content of the Course
Basic concepts related to environmental and public health, environmental risk factors, the effects of air, water, and soil pollution on human health, the relationship between waste management and public health, infectious diseases and environmental factors, chemical and biological pollutants, environmental toxicity, hygiene and sanitation, sustainable environmental health practices, environmental legislation, and approaches to protecting public health are covered.
