Course Objective
The aim of this course is to teach students about the relationships between water policies, water resource management, and climate change; and to provide them with knowledge and awareness regarding sustainable water management, water security, and the impacts of climate change on water resources. Additionally, the course aims to help students develop the ability to evaluate national and international water policies and interpret environmental management approaches.
Brief Content of the Course
The course covers water resources management, water policies and fundamental concepts, the impacts of climate change on water resources, water security, sustainable water management, water supply and demand, drought management, integrated water resources management, national and international water policies, water legislation, environmental sustainability, and climate change adaptation strategies.
