Course Objective
The aim of this course is to understand cultural studies in the light of sociological perspectives and to reach the level of competence that can research and explain cultural practices.
Brief Content of the Course
Topics such as how the concept of culture is handled by sociological theories, how cultural research is studied, what models are put forward to explain cultural practices, and the examination of comparative cultural research from the world and Turkey constitute the content of the course.
