Course Objective
The aim of this course is to explain the content of accounting, to teach how to keep accounting records of a business, to interpret basic financial statements, to show the functioning of the financial system, financial markets, and to introduce financial instruments and financial institutions.
Brief Content of the Course
Definition and functions of accounting, users of accounting information, sections of accounting, basic concepts of accounting, accounting principles, basic accounting equation, operation of accounts, double-entry recording method and accounting process, financial tables used in accounting, definition and functions of financial management, financial system, financial markets, financial instruments and institutions.
