Course Objective
Aim of the course is the examination of the clothing characteristics of Turkish culture in line with the historical process.
Brief Content of the Course
Sociological, cultural and regional characteristics of Turkish society, clothing style features, concepts and terms, factors, events, people, cultures and fashion trends affecting clothing in Turkish societies, Turkish clothes before the Islamic period, Turkish clothes of Seljuks and Ottoman period, Republican period and the development of Turkish clothing fashion from the Republic to the present day, women’ clothing according to regional characteristics, (underwear, outerwear, upper clothing and dressings).

There is not any prerequisite.
