Course Objective
It is aimed to learn the development process, meanings and purposes of use of jewelry from ancient times to the present.
Brief Content of the Course
Definition of basic concepts related to the history of jewelry. Outline of jewelry in prehistoric times. Classification of Anatolian jewelry. Providing information about jewelry belonging to ancient civilizations such as Egypt, Mesopotamia, Ancient Greece and Rome. Explanation of the history and styles of Western art jewelry.
