Admission of Special Students
- Students who are graduates of a higher education institution or a student of a graduate program, who want to increase their knowledge on a particular subject can be accepted as special students for postgraduate courses upon the recommendation of the relevant department / department and with the decision of EYK. Students who take courses with the status of special students cannot enjoy their right to be a student.
- Students who wish to take courses with the status of special students, apply to the relevant institute with the application form and their attachments until the registration renewal date.
- Among the courses taken and successfully completed by the students admitted to the post-graduate program as special students, maximum 3 courses can be counted for the exemption of the courses accepted. The exemption or ECTS transfer of the grades received while in special student status is decided upon the proposal of the department / department and the approval of the institute board of directors.
- Students with special student status can enroll in a maximum of two courses in each semester from courses offered in postgraduate programs. The student can be exempted from at most two courses from the courses taken in both semesters. These students have to attend the courses they have taken and to fulfill the requirements of these courses. This regulation and other relevant legislative provisions apply to the attendance and success of students with special student status.
- Participants with special student status are charged with the amount determined by EYK, provided that they do not exceed the tuition fee received from other students.
- Diplomas and titles are not given to special students. However, a document indicating special student status, showing the courses they have followed and the grades they have taken can be issued.
