Courses; Course Substitution, Course Change and Courses Taken From Another Institution

1. Scientific research methods and publication ethics

• At least one course, which includes scientific research techniques and research and publication ethics, must be taught during postgraduate education.
• Those who enroll in the doctoral program do not retake the course in the related content if they take the graduate program and apply to the student affairs of the institute until the registration renewal date along with the course contents and petition.

2. Choosing another lesson instead of repeating lesson

• The student can take another course in the related semester with the approval of the supervisor, instead of the elective course he / she repeats.
• In addition, students who have a repetition of the courses, with the proposal of the supervisor, with the approval of the department and the decision of the institute board of directors; Regardless of the semester
  • can replace a failed course with a course with similar content,
  • can take another course instead of the elective course,

3.  Substitution of the courses taken as a special student

• Upon the acceptance of students into the graduate school, a maximum of three courses can be substituted from the courses taken as a special student and successful.
• The exemption or ECTS transfer of the grades taken while in special student status is decided upon the recommendation of the department and the approval of the institute board of directors.

4. Substitution of the courses of the transfer student

Thesis Defence Exam Processes

 Before the exam, the thesis jury confirmation page (at least 4 for the master's degree with thesis, at least 6 for the doctorate) and the thesis defence exam report (2) will be printed out after the relevant parts are filled by the supervisor or the student who will take the thesis defence exam.

After the thesis defence exam, the documents with relevant places signed delivered to the student affairs unit for control. Forms filled out wrong and / or with missing signatures will not be accepted.

Following the delivery of the prepared documents and materials to the student affairs office of the institute, the graduation process of the student is carried out by presenting it to the Board of Directors of the first Institute.
