Genetic Map Construction, QTL Mapping and GWAS
Within the scope of TÜBİTAK 2221 Guest and Sabbatical Scientist Support Program, "Course on Genetic Map Construction, QTL Mapping and GWAS" (Course on Genetic Map Construction, QTL Mapping and GWAS) was given by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Awais Khan from Cornell University, USA, at our Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, between 29 November and 1 December 2023. A course titled Genetic Map Creation, QTL Mapping and Genome-Wide Association Study (GWAS)) was organized. 13 researchers from 9 different research institutes affiliated to the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies (TAGEM) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and 19 local and foreign graduate students from Erciyes, Çukurova, Bolu İzzet Baysal University and our University attended the course. At the end of the course, all trainees were given a certificate of participation.
