Our “Looking for Future Agricultural Engineers” Program Has Started!


The opening of our “Looking for Agricultural Engineers of the Future” program, prepared in collaboration with Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, Niğde Provincial Directorate of National Education, our University's Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies and our University's Ayhan Şahenk Agricultural Application and Research Center, has been held.

Our Esteemed Graduate, Mr. Alperen ÖZTÜRK, who completed his Master's Degree in Japan and is also the President of IAAS World, shared his experiences at our faculty.


Tarım Bilimleri ve Teknolojileri Fakültemiz ve Üniversitemiz IAAS Öğrenci Kulübü ile birlikte fakültemizde “IAAS Tanıtım Toplantısı” gerçekleştirilmiştir. Programımıza kapsamında Fakültemiz mezunu ve IAAS World Başkanı Sayın Alperen ÖZTÜRK ile Fakültemiz 4.sınıf Öğrencisi ve Niğde Ömer Halisdemir Üniversitesi IAAS Öğrenci Kulübü Başkanımız Metehan ÜSTÜNDAĞ konuyla ilgili sunumlarını gerçekleştirmiş, bilgi ve tecrübelerini paylaşmış ve öğrencilerimizin sorularını yanıtlamıştır.

Orientation training was given to Preparatory and First Year students who were newly registered to our faculty.


On 09.10.2024, an orientation training was provided to the Preparatory and 1st year students who have newly registered to our faculty in the Open Lecture Hall of our faculty with the participation of our Vice Deans Prof. Dr. Ahmet ŞEKEROĞLU, Prof. Dr. Halil TOKTAY and our Department Heads. The students were informed about the physical infrastructure of our faculty and student activities.

From Our Producing University to Tables: 200 Tons of Apple Harvest


The harvest of apples grown in the production application areas of our Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies Application Center was carried out with the participation of our Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Uslu, faculty management, academic staff and students. Approximately 200 tons of harvest was obtained from the apple garden planted on an area of ​​35 decares.

The relevant project aims to produce a Web-Based Spatial Decision Support System to encourage participatory urban transformation processes.

GROWTECH agricultural fair visit event


4th grade students of our faculty visited the Batı Akdeniz Agricultural Research Institute Directorate and GROWTECH agricultural fair in Antalya on 24-25 November under the coordination of Halil Toktay. During the visits at the fair, where many local and foreign companies participated, it was aimed for students to see new technologies closely, increase their knowledge and get to know the sector closely.
