The “Meeting with Sector Representatives” event, which will be organized every Wednesday by Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, has started as of 04.12.2024.

In this program, which brings together the students of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technology and leading public and private sector representatives in the field of agriculture, and offers our students the opportunity to gain experience, gain experience, gain a glimpse into the agricultural sector, and find internships and job opportunities, our first speaker was Mr. Mustafa ÖZKAN, the head of the Niğde Provincial Liaison Office on behalf of the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (TKDK).

In his opening speech, our Dean Prof. Dr. Ahmet ŞEKEROĞLU, who mentioned the importance of getting to know the agricultural sector, emphasized that these and similar events will continue to be held for the development of our students as the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies.

Mr. ÖZKAN, who talked in detail about the main IPARD programs, supported sectors, support scopes, program call plans and payment processes in his presentations, showed examples of previous studies in Niğde province and answered questions and concluded his speech.

At the end of our program, which was held with intense participation of our students, our dean Prof. Dr. Ahmet ŞEKEROĞLU, who presented certificates of appreciation to our speaker Mustafa ÖZKAN, thanked the participants and our speaker and concluded the program.
