Associate Professor Dr. Burak ŞEN, a faculty member of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, met with students from Şehit Kemal Tosun Imam Hatip High School to give a presentation about the faculty and the Biosystems Engineering Department.

During the visit, Assoc. Prof. Dr. ŞEN provided students with comprehensive information about the general structure of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, its educational opportunities, research infrastructure, and application possibilities. He particularly highlighted the interdisciplinary nature of the Biosystems Engineering Department, emphasizing that it is a modern engineering discipline that brings together agriculture, environment, energy, and engineering fields.

The presentation also detailed the departments within the faculty, ongoing academic studies, laboratory facilities, and project and internship opportunities offered to students. Assoc. Prof. Dr. ŞEN stated that engineering education plays a critical role in solving today's agricultural and environmental problems, encouraging students to pursue careers in this field.

At the end of the program, students had the opportunity to ask questions about the faculty and the department. The event was successfully completed, contributing to students' university selection processes and increasing their awareness of engineering fields.
