INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMS

ERASMUS+ PROGRAM

Erasmus+ Program name; It is named after the Dutch scientist Erasmus (1469-1536), who was one of the important representatives of Renaissance Humanism because he was both a student and an academician in various European countries, and in a way, he is seen as the 'first' of today's Erasmus students.


The Erasmus+ Program is an international program for cooperation at higher education level. The aim of the program is to increase the quality of higher education and strengthen its European dimension. Within the scope of the program; It provides non-refundable financial support in the form of grants for higher education institutions to produce and implement joint projects with each other and to exchange students and staff for short periods of time. For this purpose, the universities to which our university and our department offer student and faculty member exchange opportunities through bilateral agreements are;

FARABI EXCHANGE PROGRAM


Student and Faculty Member Exchange Program Between Higher Education Institutions, briefly called "Farabi Exchange Program", is a student and faculty member exchange program between higher education institutions that provide education at associate, bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels within universities and high technology institutes. Farabi Exchange Program aims to enable students or faculty members to continue their education and training activities at a higher education institution outside their own institution for one or two semesters. The principles regarding the implementation of the Farabi Exchange Program are determined in detail by the Regulation, Principles and Procedures.

Within the scope of the Farabi Exchange Program, within the framework of bilateral agreements made with 71 universities, since 2010, 45 students from the Department of Business Administration have gone to study at different universities in the country for one or two semesters, and 8 students from other universities have come to study in our department for one or two semesters.

MEVLANA EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Mevlana Exchange Program is a program that enables the exchange of students and faculty members between higher education institutions providing education in Turkey and higher education institutions providing education abroad. With the Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 23 August 2011 and numbered 28034, the way was opened for the exchange of students and faculty members between higher education institutions abroad and higher education institutions in our country. Unlike other exchange programs, the mobility within the exchange program covers higher education institutions all over the world, regardless of geographical region. Within the framework of this program, our students can continue their education in the contracted country for at least one and a maximum of two semesters through bilateral agreements with 8 different countries, including Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

ORHUN EXCHANGE PROGRAM

The most comprehensive concrete initiative implemented in line with the aims and objectives of TÜRKÜNİB is the Turkic Council Union of Turkish Universities (TÜRKÜNİB) Orhun, which was signed in Bishkek-Kyrgyzstan on April 6, 2017 and was approved and entered into force at the 5th Meeting of the Ministers of Education of the Turkic Council dated March 15, 2019. The Orhun Exchange Program was implemented within the framework of the pilot scheme in the 2017-2018 academic year, together with the Exchange Program Regulation.

At the Fourth General Assembly of the Turkic Council Turkish Universities Association, hosted by the Turkish Universities Association Term President Hoca Ahmet Yesevi International Turkish-Kazakh University on 23-24 April 2019, our University's membership to the Union was realized, and in this context, the Orhun Exchange Program started to be implemented.

Our University Orhun Coordination Office is responsible for the execution of TÜRKÜNİB and Orhun Exchange Program.
